History
UniLink Data Systems was established in 1989 with the committment to complete the Campus Bookshop Software 'CABS'. This was a co-operative venture between several university bookshops and UniLink. In 1995 UniLink Data Systems was commissioned to produce a Windows version of the 'CABS' software for the Australian Government Publishing Service (AGPS). The success of this project has led to the BookNet software being the system of choice for Higher Education, Retail and Back-to-School markets througout Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific. Close alliances with its customers has seen UniLink adopt internet technologies and broaden its Higher Education market to include integrated Cashiering, Online Payments and Conferencing on campus.
